I'm heading to the Farmer's Market right now and pick up some local honey. What an excellent idea! I knew that honey was "Nature's Antibiotic", but I never thought to use it on my eyes! Thanks for the post, and I'll let you know when I try it.

Hi Jane!

I'm so excited to attend your honey workshop. I just wanted to check in to see where you would recommend to find local White honey in the York Region area?

Thank you!

My very grand parents used this trick to see the distant objects. They didn't see through the hole in their folded hands but they saw the distant objects by holding their palm right above their eye level in perpendicular direction. This would help them see the distant objects a bit more clearly. They were doing this when i was a child and i am unlucky to know the logic behind that technique as they were no more before i realized about that technique..

When I put on pinhole glasses I can feel my eyes "move". The muscles that is.
Probably the brain tries to not see the holes. And sometimes that happens.
I bought them, because I want to get rid of cataracts.
What I disvcovered is that when I close one eye and look through the pinholes I can exactly see where the cataract is, how it developes and how thick it is here and there.
Quite interesting.
But how interesting it may be, I'd much much rather get rid of the cataracts....sigh...

Kind regards, Hélène

Unfortunately, no, they don't. One will tell you that it will exercise your eye muscles in a way to get used to receiving less light and it will help you in a long-term. The first part is true. The second is a misconception.

The relaxation is a key to the sight improvement. Period!

Sincerely.

P.S.
Talks from a personal experience.
